# Pharma Promotional Material Suppliers in Delhi NCR: A Buyer's Guide
Finding a printer in Delhi is easy. The paper and print lanes of Old Delhi alone have more presses than any one pharma company will ever need. What is hard is finding a supplier who understands that a visual aid is not a brochure, that a composition line cannot have a single wrong character, and that forty MRs across five districts all need their kits on the same Monday.
This guide is for brand managers, PCD owners and marketing heads in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad who are choosing — or replacing — a promotional material supplier. It covers what to compare, where NCR orders go wrong, and how to plan a launch so material reaches every field location on time.
What "pharma promotional material" actually covers
Before comparing suppliers, list what you are really buying. For most NCR companies the field kit includes:
- Visual aids — the multi-page detailing book an MR opens in front of the doctor
- Prescription pads and chit pads — daily desk presence with your brand
- Reminder cards — the leave-behind that keeps the message alive after the call
- Chemist books, order books and bill books — for the counter and the distributor channel
- Diaries, pens and paperweights — seasonal and relationship items
A supplier who can handle only one of these forces you to manage several vendors, several proofs and several delivery schedules. That coordination cost rarely shows up in the quote, but your team pays it every launch.
Why NCR pharma companies order differently
After working with companies across north India, a few patterns show up again and again in Delhi NCR briefs.
1. One headquarters, many delivery points. A Delhi-based company often has its head office in one city and field teams spread across the NCR and into Haryana, western UP and Rajasthan. The order is placed once, but it has to land in five or ten places. A supplier who only ships to "one address" creates a second job for your admin team.
2. Launch-heavy calendars. Many ethical and PCD marketing companies are headquartered in Delhi, so a large share of new-brand launches start here. Launch material needs to be right the first time, because the first doctor impression cannot be reprinted.
3. Many brands, smaller quantities each. PCD and marketing companies often run a long brand list with modest quantities per brand. A supplier with a high minimum order quantity pushes you into over-printing material that will go out of date.
4. The wholesale channel matters. Delhi's wholesale medicine trade, including Bhagirath Palace, means chemist-facing material — order books, chemist books, counter reminders — carries more weight here than in many other markets.
5. Too many cheap options. Because NCR has so many printers, buyers compare on "rate per piece". Two quotes at the same rate can differ in paper GSM, lamination, binding and whether design and corrections are included. The cheaper quote is often a different product.
Local press or specialist supplier: an honest comparison
There is no single right answer. It depends on what your order needs.
| What you need | Local NCR press | Pharma-specialist supplier (can be outstation) |
|---|---|---|
| Walk-in, same-day physical proof | Strong | Usually digital proof; physical sample on request |
| Medical content and composition accuracy | Often your team's job | Usually handled by the supplier |
| Design included with the order | Varies | Often built into the workflow |
| Full kit (VA + pads + cards + chemist books) from one team | Varies | Usually yes |
| Split dispatch to multiple NCR locations | You arrange it | Often planned with the order |
| Very urgent reprint of an existing file | Strong | Depends on the supplier's schedule |
If your artwork is already final and you need 500 copies by tomorrow, a local press may be the right call. If you are launching a brand and need content, design, a full kit and multi-location delivery handled end to end, a specialist is usually the better fit — even if they are not in Delhi.
Eight things to check before you pay
- Pharma experience. Ask for samples in your therapy area, not generic brochures.
- Who writes the content? Find out whether they will build the scientific content from your composition or expect you to supply every word.
- Proofing process. How many correction rounds are included, and how are proofs shared?
- Itemised spec sheet. Size, page count, paper GSM, lamination, binding and quantity should all be written down.
- Who prints? Ask honestly whether printing is done on their own machines or through partner presses, and who is accountable if a batch is wrong.
- Minimum order quantity. Small quantities matter if you run many brands.
- Dispatch. Can they split and label the order by delivery point?
- Reprint handling. Will they store your final files and reprint the same version without re-quoting design?

How to compare two quotes fairly
Put both quotes into the same table before deciding:
| Line item | Quote A | Quote B |
|---|---|---|
| Finished size | ||
| Page count | ||
| Paper GSM (cover / inner) | ||
| Lamination (gloss / matt) | ||
| Binding style | ||
| Quantity | ||
| Design included? Correction rounds? | ||
| Dispatch cost and number of delivery points | ||
| Production time after approval |
If a line is blank on one quote, ask for it before you compare the totals. Most "cheaper" quotes become the same price once every line is filled.
Planning a multi-location NCR launch
Work backwards from the date your MRs need the kit in hand.
- Delivery points first. List every location, a receiving contact for each, and the quantity per location. Send this with the brief, not after approval.
- Approval deadline. Fix a date by which final artwork must be signed off. Late approval is the most common reason launches slip.
- Production time. For a typical visual aid order, allow roughly 8–12 working days of production after artwork approval, plus design and proofing time before that.
- Transit buffer. Add courier or transport time to each delivery point and keep a few days of buffer before the launch meeting.
- Pack labels. Ask for cartons labelled by headquarters or MR territory, so nobody has to re-sort on arrival.
Where RX Design Hub fits for NCR buyers
We are based in Lucknow, not Delhi, and we do not have a Delhi office. NCR clients work with us online: the brief comes on WhatsApp, proofs are shared digitally, and finished material is couriered to each NCR delivery point. Design and binding happen at our Lucknow unit, and printing is coordinated through quality-focused partner presses matched to each run.
That model suits companies who want content, design and a full field kit handled by one accountable team. If you need a walk-in counter and same-day physical proofs, a local press may suit that particular job better — and we would rather tell you that upfront.

Frequently asked questions
Can an outstation supplier serve Delhi NCR reliably? Yes, if the supplier plans dispatch against your launch date and shares tracking for each delivery point. Ask for the dispatch schedule before you approve the artwork, not after.
What should I send to get an accurate quote? Brand name, composition, product types, approximate quantity, number of pages for visual aids, and the list of delivery points. The more complete the brief, the fewer surprises in the final bill.
Is it cheaper to print everything in one large run? Per-unit cost usually falls with quantity, but over-printing material that becomes outdated after a pack or claim change is expensive. Print what the field will use in one promotional cycle.
Do I need a physical sample before a bulk order? For a first order with a new supplier, it is sensible to ask for a physical sample of a similar past job so you can check paper, lamination and binding quality.
